February 2009 - My family took our parents on a cruise to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. This is Jim and me the first formal night. The next four photos are from this same trip.

One night at dinner... I think I was checking out what Dad was eating.

Jim and Belicia enjoying dancing to the sounds of the Latino lounge. She was so happy to hear music that she was familiar with.

2007 cruise - one of the formal nights

April 2007 - Bethany has played the piano since she was two years old. This is her warming up to perform with Ivan Parker. I'm sure you don't like Southern Gospel, but he is the #1 Southern Gospel soloist in the country; he performs a lot with the Gaithers on TV. He allows her to play at his concerts whenever she attends. What an awesome opportunity for her!!

Christmas 2006 at Sherry's - Bethany, Marie holding her little sister, Marisa, and Dustin. Marie and Marisa belong to Colleen... a 14 year age difference... what a shock to Colleen!!

Christmas 2006 - We used this picture to send to Colombia for them to show Belicia her new family. She had never seen white people and blond hair before; she thought we looked very strange!

My 40th birthday!! Besides taking me to a Michael W. Smith concert outside of NYC and on a cruise, Jim surprised me by flying Twila in from Atlanta. This is Sherry, Colleen, me, and Twila at Mom and Dad's.

August 2006 - We went to New Hampshire to help at a Joni Erickson-Toda camp (a camp for families with disabled children). Every adult is assigned to take care of a child with a disability. This enables their family to have a week of rest and relaxation enjoying the mountains and lake. This is Jim with his child, Stuart.

Christmas 2005 - Bethany just received her newest American Girl doll, Elizabeth. Don't they look a lot alike?

2005 - Dad helping Bethany with a "project". I'm still not thrilled with her using power tools!!
